We started Misfit Animal Ranch as a non-profit (501c3) farm and exotic animal rescue in 2018. We were inundated with calls for animals but had little funds coming in because we were a new rescue; so we started Wild Adventures Zoo to help fund the rescue.
With people coming to the zoo to see the animals, the funds that come in take care of all the rescued animals that the rescue takes in.
The zoo also uses its funds to grow the zoo as a zoo itself and not just as part of the rescue. The larger the zoo becomes, the more money it brings in, the more animals the rescue can help.
As of 2019, over 75% of petting zoo funds go straight to the rescue. That includes paying for feed, hay, straw, city water, electricity and vet bills.
When the rescue doesn't have funds to pay for something, the petting zoo covers it. In fact, the petting zoo tries to cover as much of the rescue's costs as possible so that the rescue has money in the bank at all times for emergency vet situations.
ALSO, The Redneck Pig (our food truck) donates it's extra funds to the Rescue as well!
So when you visit Wild Adventures Zoo or eat at The Redneck Pig, you are supporting Misfit Animal Ranch's rescue efforts!
So THANK YOU for all you do for us, whether you realize it or not!

This is a judgement free zone. We understand if you cannot keep your animal and we would be happy to help you out.
We do not pay rehoming fees. If you’re able to transport, that would be awesome! If not, we can find someone to transport.
